Heritage

Heritage can be understood as cultural diversity, an essential trait of humanity. It must be valued for the benefit of everyone as a nurturing force for the human values that are essential for peace-building and security. Furthermore, cultural heritage is a crucial axis for the respect of Human Rights standards and sustainable development; it is a vortex of cooperation; a source of material and immaterial wealth that must be protected by the States, especially in situations of conflict or risk for the richness of the elements that constitute it (UNESCO, 2005).

This line of work proposes a pluralistic and diverse education, wherein the different ways of being, thinking and existing are recognized to narrate the local and the global cultures alongside.
