Memory is the ability of the human cognition to recollect images, situations and sounds experienced in the past, whether they are positive and happy or complex and sad.

This line of work suggests that education should be aimed to repair what has been painful or left a negative wound; to rebuild it, heal it and render it visible through actions of peace and reconciliation that project a future of harmony and non-repetition for victims.
